Are there refrigerators and microwaves in each villa?

Yes, each villa has its own small refrigerator and microwave. All of our new Ranch Suites, Golf Suites and Water Park Suites have full kitchens.

Do you have driving directions to the Flying L?

Directions to the Flying L Guest Ranch Take Highway 16 (Bandera Road) North until you reach Bandera. Once in Bandera, at the first stop light take a left onto Hwy 173. Go down about ¾ of a mile and on the left will be Wharton Dock Rd. Turn left and we will be the first driveway on the left.  

Do you have a golf pro on site?

Yes.  We have two PGA Professionals on staff.  Mickey Davis is Director of Golf and Joe Skeins is our Golf Professional.  Call the Pro Shop at 1-800-646-5407 for any of your golfing needs including lessons, outings, and the latest in golf merchandise.

How old do you have to be to participate in the trailrides?

You must be at least six years of age.  Children under six can participate in the pony rides at the main house.

Are Pets allowed?

Unfortunately, we do not allow pets, but there are accomodations for pets nearby and we would be happy to assist you in finding lodging for your pet.

How far in advance should we make reservations?

The Flying L is a very popular destination.  If you have a large group, we normally book a year in advance to secure your reservation.  For smaller groups we suggest you book at least 3-6 months prior to your arrival.

What types of clothes do we bring for our visit?

The Flying L is known for comfort.  Bring your blue jeans, shorts, bathing suit, t-shirts, boots & hat (if you don't have these items, please visit our general store), tennis shoes and a light jacket for the spring and fall.
